Kitty tended to get up early. Really early. With her Engineering training starting, she wanted an early start, which meant her morning routine got moved up an hour. With the ship returning to normal (because naturally there'd be a disaster the day after she arrived), she really felt the need to hit something.

She pulled out a big punching bag and set it up, then tied her hair back and assumed a ready stance. Then she let out a battle cry and started to hit it, following up her punches with kicks and increasingly acrobatic attacks.
