Welcome to the Deck 5 Lounge

	He seemed so confident. It looked good on him, made him attractive despite the informal clothing. "Do you know where our first stop will be?" The idea of walking on solid ground again really appealed to Mary. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Jim shook his head. "No, not yet. Haven't got the transmission from headquarters, but hopefully we'll know more soon enough. On this side of space, it probably won't be a planet. Mary nodded, watching him for a moment. He was handsome, there was no denying that. Kirk had a strong jaw and the prettiest blue eyes she had seen since Matthew's. Mary wouldn't be surprised if he broke girls' hearts all over the galaxy.

"I look forward to a change of scenery," she said. She finished her drink and set the empty glass on the bar. "That was a good recommendation. Thank you. I probably ought to go, as I would not wish to monopolize your time."

	Mary paused when he touched her. Sometimes there was something about a touch that could say more than words did. She wasn't quite sure what his touch said, but it sent a wave through her, even though it was brief. "Yes, I certainly hope so," she replied. "Good evening, Captain."
