Welcome to the Deck 5 Lounge: Karaoke Night Edition

Lucifer Morningstar and Tony Stark have taken over the lounge to host a night of karaoke, kicked off by a surprisingly strong duet rendition of "Friends in Low Places." Then the floor is opened for anyone who wishes to join in, with the duo warning that if no one else sings, the quality of their song choices will deteriorate quickly throughout the night.

After not recognizing most of what the others sang and a glass of wine to steady her nerves, Mary got up and did Blue Skies. It seemed to go over pretty well, even if it was quite old-fashioned compared to what the other people sang. Mary knew that she had a pleasant voice.

Later on in the evening, she felt brave enough to go up and do Someone To Watch Over Me. Gershwin was popular in her time and that song seemed to strike her as particularly relevant.

There is a small chance that one former senator may have gotten misty eyed during Mary's performance of 'Someone to Watch Over Me'. She had never heard of it of course, because all of these songs were written far into the future, in a galaxy far, far away from her own.
