Harley was working hard, or hardly working. The bar was empty for the most part, as everyone had got their drinking out the night before. She wiped down a counter four times before she realized she was doing it.

Like a cat, she gently nudged at a glass set too close to the edge of the counter. She nudged it again until it fell off the side, and broke into several pieces. She cheered and jumped up and down with it shattered, and went to get a broom.

She spotted another glass and started to nudge it with the broom. She didn't notice someone had heard the crash and came to investigate.

	"Hmm...which 80s? The world ended in 2065, and I was born about a thousand years later." She didn't know what a transformer was, so she looked around. "Robots killed everything." For some reason, it was easy for Aloy to talk about. As awful as it had been to learn the truth, she was alive. People were alive. Her mother had found a way for people to come back.

"Then a machine called Gaia was used to hatch humans again when the robots were shut down. This Thunderjaw had a purpose, to clean the air and the land. Gaia liked extinct animals."

She paused, then added. "Really hard to fight, though."

	"I imagine. Didja have guns or anything?" Hatching humans? Harley tried not to flip out at the story. Weirdness was abound this place. Though, this might just be the weirdest thing she'd heard so far. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Sometimes? Some of the machines I fought, the really, really old ones, had guns. I could blow them off and use them against them. But my best weapon was my bow. I could make arrows that exploded in fire, and a kind of sonic arrow that shatters armor." Aloy had been particularly fond of the latter, especially since it was the best way to blow a disc launcher off of a Thunderjaw. "I really like those ones. I also got really good with a trap launcher."

Hatching was probably a bad word for it, since it involved incubators and not actual eggs.

	"Good night, I like that." Aloy didn't know what baseball was, but she got the idea of a bat. She also got the idea that the gun bothered Harley, but could't quite figure out why. 	That was a lesson Aloy actually understood. Even if she disobeyed it sometimes. She couldn't resist a pretty smile or unfortunate soul, after all. She nodded, then left the lounge, fingers itching to pick up her bow. (Reply to this) (Parent)
