Welcome to the Yorktown Observatory Restaurant

Instead of the usual social gathering in the Deck Five Lounge, the Enterprise reserves a private room at the Yorktown Observatory Restaurant, which features food and drink from all over the galaxy and was built with all transparent materials, giving off the effect of actually dining directly in outer space.

OOC Information

These weekly posts are IC third-person threading opportunities. Threads that extend to 10 total good-sized comments can be counted as a log for activity check. If you have any questions, please let me know. The hope is that you will use this opportunity for random character interactions and development.

"Alright? I'm bloody brilliant," Lucifer declared, laughing. How could he be anything but brilliant, really? "This is absolutely fascinating, the way my head feels like it's in this massive swirling fog that feels all warm and fuzzy."

Lucifer paused. "Did I just say warm and fuzzy?" He laughed again. Because it was warm and fuzzy and he was just going to embrace it.

	Jim laughed again. Now this was a little bit more exciting and entertaining than he expected. "Honestly, I didn't expect it to work," he said with a shrug. "If you squint?" Lucifer said, feigning hurt. "Well then, Captain. I assumed you were getting me drunk to take me back to what I can only assume are very luxurious quarters, but apparently I was mistaken."

His attempt to keep up the pretense, however, was destroyed by the buzz he was still maintaining, and he all but giggled at himself. "Bloody hell," he said, "this stuff is lethal."

"You are the first, and probably the only one who will ever accomplish that," Lucifer said cheerfully, suddenly seeming to remember that he still had whiskey available to him.

He poured himself a new glass and took a sip, wondering if it would actually affect him now that he was slightly buzzed. But really, it tasted like water compared to the Romulan ale.

"If you've ruined me for whiskey..." Lucifer mentioned, taking another drink. But he couldn't remember what he was going to say after that.

"Feel free," Lucifer said, guessing that Jim was amused. "He didn't seem to know what to do when I started flirting with him. Which only made him all the more attractive."

He laughed as he remembered the complete confusion Bones had replied with. "That's one thing about the Enterprise that I've noticed," he mentioned. "Your crew is extremely attractive. Men and women."
