Welcome to the Yorktown Observatory Restaurant

Instead of the usual social gathering in the Deck Five Lounge, the Enterprise reserves a private room at the Yorktown Observatory Restaurant, which features food and drink from all over the galaxy and was built with all transparent materials, giving off the effect of actually dining directly in outer space.

"I'm afraid I don't know what the Millennium Falcon is," Peggy mused. "And I had no idea the Enterprise was something that existed until I came here, though I've learned that in some realities, it's a fictional ship, from a television show, is that right?"

Her eyebrow arched. "Dreadful? Uh oh, what happened?" Word hadn't gotten back to her of any issues with the travelers outside of Lucifer Morningstar's rampage in the Deck Five Lounge, though that was cleared up pretty quickly by security.

"It's a ship, like this one, but much smaller but kind of cooler? Like this one is super cool, but this is also like a cruise ship, and the Falcon's more like... a Ferrari. Well, more like a Viper, not super well-made but super fun to drive."

Peter laughed shaking his head, "But yes, it's from a television show. I forget not everyone knows all the dumb stuff that I know."

He looked towards her and raised a brow, "Oh, it was just.. not all that delicious. It was kind of disgusting the ale, as it were."

Peggy wasn't sure that any of that made sense to her but she grinned nonetheless. It was hard not to, catching wind of his enthusiasm. "It's not dumb. It's helping you out here, isn't it? You know what you're doing in ways that other people don't. That has to be making yourself more comfortable, right?"

"It does help, a lot," Peter nodded, looking down at his hands, letting the fingers lace together after setting his drink down. Brow raised, as he watched her again, a smile spreading larger.

"I actually almost thought about helping you in your job, helping people get used to this place, since I've known... a lot of people showing up, from respective media, and how it compares to stuff here." He shrugged, "But then realized most people wouldn't like to know they're fictional in some fashion."

"Honestly," Peggy began, "you'd be surprised. I think once someone understands and can accept that they're in a reality different than the one they've lived their entire lives in, it's easier for them to understand that their reality was, in fact, a fictional one to another reality. It's almost like stacking realities on top of one another." She took a sip of her own drink and shrugged. "But at the same time, there are some people who take none of it very well at all."

"Maybe, I know I can handle it alright, but that's only because I've been dealing with stuff like this forever, to the point I'm pretty convinced I'm real but I'm probably fake to someone somewhere at any given time," Peter offered, watching Peggy as she chatted.

He raised a brow, "How did you take it? Supposing you're fake somewhere too."

Peggy thought about his question for a moment. "I do seem to be fictional somewhere, though what's taken more getting used to is the understanding that I've done things in my life in my future that I hadn't got to yet. For instance, I know Tony Stark's father - Howard. We're close friends and then here I am getting to know his son."

Peter nodded, and then shrugged his shoulders, "Well being fictional doesn't mean a ton, after all, we're here, talking, physically capable of touching and what have you, and I have no doubt you're real as the day is long. So, I think worrying about that sort of stuff is unnecessary. It is... interesting at least."

He laughed, "I never met Howard myself, but Tony's significantly older than me where I come from. And careful with Tony Stark. Getting to know him can... get hazardous at times. Though he's a good guy for the most part."

"It makes things interesting when other people know things about you that you don't know yet," Peggy said. She finished off her wine and set the glass down. "That's something most of us are still getting used to." She sat back and folded her hands in her lap. "If I could handle Howard Stark, I think I can manage his son. But thank you for the tip."
