Soooo I'm back from my off the grid expedition into the world of photography, and I have three words:
Oh. My. God.
That was amazing. It makes me want to give a big ole "fuck you" to my law school plans and do this for the rest of my freaking life. We got up at 5 am every day, shot each sunrise no matter what the weather, shot until the light got crappy (happens by 10 am) and then spent the day going through our slides, mercilessly throwing out the crap and scanning in the good ones, before leaving at about 5 in the afternoon to chase down the good evening light and shoot into the night. Amazing. There's not another word for it.
But I'm back now, and I do plan to share some of my photos once I get them uploaded (shooting film rather than digital makes the process a bit slower) and I'll do my best to read up on what's been happening in the game today and tomorrow. BUT if anyone would like to try and catch me up I'd appreciate it because my attention span is shot.
Not to mention I'm FREEZING. I'm no longer accustomed to air conditioning... haha!
SO, yeah. Ada will be sticking around during the summer holidays minus a few excursions I have planned for her, and she needs interaction.
I might also have another little muse in my head but we'll see what happens there and how getting Ada reintegrated goes.
This is also the first time I have actually typed on a computer in... eighteen days? Jesus! I didn't know being computer-free for that long was possible but the only thing I've used it for is photo stuff!

So, we're having a mass vacate of characters/players this week, which is kind of in good timing cuz the semester ends at the end of the next week. SO! If your kid is leaving/on hiatus and they are NOT on this list, let me know. I have:

Next week is finals week!!! End of the semester is June 6th. Your professor is NOT required to give out finals. We're a leisurely school, and most people are here for practical and not academic lessons anyway.
Also... week change was supposed to be today. *oops* So if you need saves in, get 'em up! Ask your cohorts! Let me know if you absolutely object to it being today!!
Teachers have new sponsorees, sponsorees have new sponsors. Summer is less strict for their relationships, more like guides than anything. But LOOK THEM UP ANYWAY!

I am awful with dates. Next week, meaning the week AFTER this week change, is finals week. We still have the last week of May to drudge through. Hope that wasn't horrifically confusing.
