LeMarque's funeral is in 2 days time.

If you've not signed up on Leia's role-call, get on that. We need to know what we're working with.

Medics & military-sorts: we are working on getting you supplies - Gavroche is an absolute fucking star - so if you're missing anything vital you need to let me know. I'd appreciate people coming through me rather than trying to organise their own requests. The kid trusts and likes me enough that I'll probably get you a better deal anyway.

As for actual strategy: Jack has put forward a suggestion that high-ranking targets in the army should be our priority. If anyone has any better ideas I'm all ears.

The louder you lot holler, the less time I have to think about how they're all going to d-
This. This is precisely why we stopped caring about people.
They can't hurt you if you've nothing left to lose

How are you? I'm fine. Better than fine. Look at me being all fine and not freaking out about this doomed revolution. But hey, at least the nightmares have some variation now. That's new and exciting
You're a fucking bastard, you know? This would all be a whole lot easier if you hadn't made me give a shit

Hey

I still don't know why they have put me here of all places.

But I have fought wars like this, very similar. Pay attention to their cannons. If you can disable any of them before the fight, take them for your side, if you can do anything there, it would take one of their main advantages away

Join the club; I don't think any of us know quite why we were dragged into this mess.

Cannons. Right. Of course. Next it'll be Mutts and Tracker Jackers Good advice, thanks. Can you liaise with Jack on that one? He's in good with some of the French army, so might be able to find out where they keep their artillery.

Just be there with us, when the time comes.

We intend to make our move on LaMarque's funeral day. When the procession is at its height

Well yeah, of course that. But it'd be useful to know exactly what you're planning on doing "when the time comes". Assuming there is an actual plan, and not just a vague handwavey ambition.

Any non lethal way of putting people out of commission for a few days could be fed into army food supplies, that would potentially be a massive help.

That's priority one for the science-and-medicine division, then.

Hal's mentioned tracking down the cannons, and either disabling them or taking them for ourselves. Reckon you can find out where your army buddies are keeping the big guns?

I can see what I can find out, but there are likely multiple locations, i'd suggest asking gavroche or some locals too as they may know some of the closer ones.

May be good to hit the powder stores we can find, maybe some of the people that claim magic skills can help there. Don't need to do anything other than get it all damp.

Nervous
Sick to my stomach
Exhausted
Kinda freaking out

It's hard to put a name to, y'know? Haven't felt like this since the night before my first Games.

[Pretend this was posted way back when?]

I can put a number of names to the way I am feeling. Terrified is the one that springs to mind the most. For you, my friends. I always hoped it would never come to this.

I know how that goes; it's funny how you forget that doing what comes next on no sleep is a stupid idea, right? The absinthe they have here works pretty well, if you're trying to shut that nervous bit up long enough to grab some shut-eye.

... ugh, sorry. That was pretty patronising, right? I know this isn't your first rodeo either.

Oh, is he awful finicky, or has that horse been beaten to death?

It's funny how you can spend your whole life missing two people you barely remember, and then they're there, and they're still not yours.

I guess that's the way it is, being from some backwards universe where everything played out the way it shouldn't have. Still, it would be nice to [...] meet my real parents.

It's probably been long enough since we used that one it's practically Retro and due for a comeback.

This whole multiverse thing's a mindfuck at the best of times. I don't know what I'd do if they pulled my family through from a Universe where they're still where they didn't where I lost I guess? that isn't my one, and at least I got to know them... You need to vent at all, dude, I'm surprisingly good at the Listening thing.

More of a brawler than a venter. Wolverine helped me vent and he left. I'm not going to tell them who I am supposed to be to them. It's just putting them in an impossible spot.

You really are after my own heart, aren't you? Brawling's the best sort of venting, I find.

Probably clever. I reckon this is where I'm supposed to protest that they deserve to know because you're a great guy and so on and so forth but if they're not yours then... yeah, it's an impossible spot. Likewise, you shouldn't feel like you've got any responsibility for These Ones. Which is probably easier said than done, but still. They're just strangers with the same names and faces.
