Darkness isn't something you can develop an immunity to exactly. It's always a choice, and it's inevitable probably that some of us will make the wrong ones, even if they're for the right reasons.

I don't either. I'm mostly glad Dad left before that happened. And to be honest, I can only deal with one brother gone dark side at the moment. And I'm still not sure how you get to the point where killing family feels like a viable option.

It's probably the only reason that is worth something. Even if it's not worth much to the people harmed by the decision making.

I suppose my question then is why would you assume that someone who asks you to kill for them deserves your loyalty? Sometimes I think I'm so far from beginning to understand that I'm not helpful.

He doesn't really have anyone here except that Imperial.

You know Gejjen, correct? He turned out to be responsible for an assassination attempt on Tenel Ka. He, in turn, was assassinated. Guess whose order it was, and guess who killed him. [...] I guess what I'm saying is that sometimes, you don't get the luxury of questioning anything.

For better or worse, I guess he is family. But it needs to come from both sides, and if he wants to stay on his side of [...] whatever this is, who am I to drag him out of it?
