It's one hundred percent normal, but he's... I don't know how to describe it Tahiri, other than I feel like he's just more sensitive to it right now than he usually is. I think all of the public comments about Vader are getting to him more than he's letting on.

Or maybe I'm just projecting - cause they're getting to me. And if it were me, they would get to me.

I think part of me is afraid there's not any way to actually change this. That he's made up his mind, that everything I'm saying is just pushing him further.

And I feel like there's some piece of this that I'm missing.

When I talked to him, he was certain he's doing the right thing. He says that he still understands justice, but then he says things like a public trial is not an option because it's inefficient. Things that... don't even sound like him to me. ~~Have I been that out of touch?~~

I don't know that he ever carried the fear like I did. Maybe he did. I think we all carried the weight of grandfather's legacy in different ways. I had his name, so maybe I was just forced to come to terms with that in a different way than Jacen or Jaina did. He told me multiple times that 'he isn't him'. He doesn't want to be seen that way, but he also seems to be unwilling to address some of the concerns I pointed out.

But then I pointed out that having a majority doesn't make something ethical, and I may have mentioned Palpatine, and he got super offended at that comparison.

Which he probably should have. It wasn't my best moment. I was right, but it wasn't my best moment.

Ironically, that's the same thing I said to Jacen. I guess we are brothers.

So I give him space for a day, and then I go hunt him down and try to break this serious - I'm the only one who can save the Galaxy streak he's on. Even if it's just shoving a drink in his hand for an hour. At least I think, no. Not second guessing.

Weird question, maybe. Have you talked to Tenel Ka at all recently?
