"No, mom. Not that. Bella will hate that."
"No, not that either. It's really tacky."
"Uhm...... nah."
"Oh, what about this?"
"Oh, wow, yeah, price tag. Heh."
Angela sighed and continued to browse through the store. Why was this so difficult? It wasn't as if buying a wedding gift was all that challenging..... for a normal couple. Bella and Edward were.... special. It was taking Angela forever with this, and she didn't know why. She and her mother had arrived here about an hour ago, and still, she couldn't find a single thing to get for Bella and Edward. Maybe she should have come with Jessica, who was far more decisive than she was with these matters. It was true. Jessica had her issues, and Angela recognized them as easily as ever, but she also had her good points too. She could be a good friend when she really wanted to be.
Strange as it was, Angela never thought she would be here looking at toasters to buy for her best friend's wedding. She figured that would happen a few years down the line perhaps. Not that it was wrong of them to get married if they truly loved each other, which Angela believed they did. Still, it was too soon for her to catch up with it all, and she would likely not get married until her twenties if Ben was up for it. For now, all he really enjoyed were karate movies and Japanese food. Would she ever get married? What if she and Ben didn't work out after all?
The frown on her face was difficult to hide, which was why she was glad her mother had wandered off somewhere. It was a bad idea to bring mom. She had such weird taste, and though Angela loved her with her heart and soul, she really didn't want her decorating hers or Bella's house in the near future. Angela had just about given up on finding a gift at this store, when she bumped into someone without looking. "Oh! I'm so sorry. So clumsy of me."
