Saturday March 15th 2008 - ERIN'S PARTY!
Who: Erin and EVERYONE INVITED!!
When: Saturday Evening
Where: Some club in Boston
What: PARTAAAY! With an old school burlesque theme!
Erin had actually totally outdone herself. The amount of detail put into the burlesque entertainment provoked question. The club was naturally divided into different rooms, and she had rented out a few of them. It was not a popular joint, nor was it an exceptionally large place. With the money she had spent, though, she had not only decorated the several rooms beautifully, but she had catered the entire thing. It had been a lot, but it was worth it. Things had come together nicely.
The main room, which housed the bar, the food, and a few full sized tables for six had dancers strewn about cavorting under the multicolored lights. There was no defined color scheme for the dancers: each had their own outfit, and each wore it very well. Although the music varied from classic burlesque striptease music to more modern dance, fun songs, the dancers were clearly ready for anything and had acts prepared. There was a large stage in the main room, and a smaller, currently empty stage to the right, where a DJ generally was stationed.
In the two smaller rooms were fewer dancers, but the intensity had varied. Though none of the dancers were ever anything close to disgusting (Erin had, again, chosen to represent "old school burlesque"), the smaller rooms had heavier movements, duo acts, and, while no more body parts were shared, more were touched, licked, and slathered in liquor.
The ice queen demon herself was wearing a beautiful purple outfit, complete with all the trimmings. The royal color suited her perfectly, and although it was certainly provocative, it covered a decent amount of skin.
No one knew her well enough -- well, no one here, at the party -- to see that she was nervous. She was smiling, she was pale, and she was floating around the room checking on people here and there. Everyone appeared to be having a good time. Now, so long as no one killed themselves, she'd be able to remember this night fondly.
Then again, her sisters were there, along with some of their hideously boring friends who, while just as predictable as the young people of TJS, weren't even interestingly predictable. Most of her sisters looked like her -- pale, with dark hair -- but it was clear by how they spoke to her, and the way Erin reacted that Erin was, and always would be, their "baby" demon sister.
Which was why Erin was ignoring them, mostly, and trying to mingle. It was hard, because she generally kept to herself. She was bored by half the conversation she was having, but at least, she reminded herself, she was TRYING.
OOC: The dancers at the party are more talented than the cheerleader one in the video. It was the best I could find rushing. You know what I mean. LMAO.
