Frozen shoulder issues
I have had what appears to be thyroid-related frozen shoulder issues for almost a year now, and am also experiencing what my GP has diagnosed as a connective tissue disorder of unknown origin. This has appeared as symptoms in the right arm similar to frozen shoulder, as well as hip pain, sore molars, stiff ankles and a variety of seemingly unrelated symptoms. These all nearly vanished with 20 mg a day of prednisone, and then promptly returned within days of discontinuing it. All tests for inflammation and other potential causes such as lupus have turned up negative.
I am curious if anyone else has heard of similar problems among people with autoimmune low thyroid issues? (I am currently being treated for that with 1.75 mg of Synthroid).
