[After his conversation with Beau, Calvin intended to return to his room and finish packing directly. Instead, he fell deeply asleep for several hours (mostly because Simon made him), and when he awoke, the place was mostly packed. He and Simon finished packing up and schlepping their stuff to the Red Thrush Inn. They checked in separately, and after settling in, Simon left to check on Luke (and drag him back with him).

Calvin intended to write the following journal missives after Simon left, but instead fell asleep until early evening, just before dinner, at which point he penned the following notes in his journal:]
