Who: Cassie MacMahon + Justin Anderson
What: Hanging out and finding out about their peeps
Where: Justin's place in Denver, Colorado
Warnings: Typical Winchester-type warnings. Cassie's got a foul mouth like the rest of them.
It was relatively easy to convince Michelle to help her out a bit when it came to how the hell Cassie was supposed to get from Buffalo to Denver. The MTN, apparently the go-to travel for all reincarnates, didn't seem so bad. It was damn fast, that was for sure, and it left her with a bit of a queasy feeling that didn't fully go away until she was walking up to Justin's front door. If there was an alternative, she would love to have taken it. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like there was another choice when it came to travelling, at least not that quickly and that cheaply. If she wanted to become close to other people like her, she would just have to get her ass used to the MTN.
She could handle it.
Cassie was quick to knock on his door, tucking the three seasons she managed to buy underneath her arm. She figured there wouldn't be getting beyond the third season of Supernatural in one day, so she didn't buy beyond that--but she did bring an overnight bag. Just in case. Even just three seasons was likely to take a while, and she'd given her parents the excuse that she was staying with her college roommate for a few days to cover for her absence. Besides, she and Justin had no idea what they were getting themselves into, but she had a feeling it wasn't anything pleasant. It was probably best to stick close for a little while.
You'll probably want to watch with the lights on. "Way ahead of you there, Sammy. Lights on and mo--hi!" She grinned and cut off her rant at Sam in the middle when Justin opened the door, clearing her throat in an effort to clear away the awkward. She still felt weird speaking to Sam solely in her mind, as though that made her crazier than she already was. It often led to people coming in on her conversations with Sam.
"I brought the first three," She said, holding them up before she pushed past him into the house. Nobody could ever say that Cassie was shy. "I figured we could get the rest when we get through these. Are you ready for this? I have a feeling it's not going to exactly be...fun."
