Who: Liam Miller and Stella Anderson
What: After eight years (for Stella), the time traveler and his constant finally meet again
When: Sunday afternoon, December 5 2010
Where: Liam's apartment in Chicago
Warnings: TBD?
Liam could hardly believe the last few hours. By now he was used to strange coincidences and people who knew him that he'd never met before, just because of the very nature of his existence. He'd been doing this since he was seven years old, if he wasn't used to this sort of thing by now he'd have already gone crazy. But for the first time in a long time, meeting this Stella had actually shaken him to his very core. For a million different reasons.
Actually, she was so much like Henry's Clare that it had shaken them both up pretty good. The similarities between Clare and Stella, and between Henry and Liam and Clare and Stella's histories were almost too familiar for comfort. And yet at the same time Liam had never felt more at peace in his entire life. That was an entirely new and strange sort of feeling that he didn't quite know what to do with. Whoever this Stella was, she knew him in a way that no one else did. He was sure Stella wasn't the only person to have met his future self, but he was sure without any sliver of doubt that she was the only one who he'd kept coming back to. Henry was right. That had to mean something. It had meant something for him, after all. That wasn't something Liam could just ignore.
After his conversation with Stella had ended, he'd spent the next half hour frantically running around his apartment in the most sincere attempt to clean up that he'd ever made. There wasn't much he could do in just thirty minutes so he ended up throwing almost everything into his bedroom. Piles of dirty clothes, random nick knacks. He dumped the millions of dirty dishes that had been cluttering the rest of his living space into the sink and then started the kettle to boil some water for tea. Just as he was turning the light off in the kitchen (purely to keep from drawing attention to it), there was a knock on his door and he swallowed. All of a sudden he was feeling a little light headed and he panicked. He could not disappear right now, not while they were still separated by a door. He closed his eyes for a moment and willed himself to stay in the here and now to the very best of his ability, clutching onto the edge of the wall for support. The moment passed, and he gratefully opened his eyes and rushed to the door, pausing before opening it and greeting her with a smile. "Stella."
