Re: Erik/Holly
Holly wasn't always the type to take a complete stranger up on an offer like that, but she'd been planning on going to the party anyway, so why not? Besides, he wasn't a total stranger. She knew REDO, knew a little bit about Erik's reputation to know what she was probably getting herself into, so what was the harm? If two people were going into a situation with eyes wide open, there was really no downside, at least none that she could see. Besides, he was hot. When it came to her guy oriented priorities, Holly's (and Kate's) were pretty simple, truthfully. They liked to have fun.
At least he wasn't Noh-Varr.
... So far as they knew, anyway. She was pretty sure he wasn't, though, he was just another hot musician with an ego. There were plenty of those out there who weren't Noh-Varr. Holly had come with a few friends, and to be completely honest, she'd spotted Erik long before he spotted her. Call her cruel, but she was sort of enjoying watching him tap every other brunette girl on the shoulder looking for her (at least, Holly was assuming that's what he was doing. She could be a little full of herself, but she was pretty sure she was right about this one). You couldn't say the man wasn't dedicated.
When she finally felt the tap on her own shoulder and heard her name, Holly grinned, turning from the people she was talking to in her favorite party dress and came face to face with the infamous Erik von Brandt. Yeah, he was even hotter in person. Definitely promising. "That's me. Gold star for the impressive detective work, birthday boy."
