Who: Liam Walker & Scott Morgan
What: Working out some aggression, being idiots, the usual.
Where: Camelot training rooms
When: Thursday evening, July 9th 2015
Warnings: Some sword fighting. No that isn't a euphemism. Probably.
Everyone else had already cleared out of the training room for the evening, but Liam was still going at it. He often did, though it wasn't necessarily public knowledge. Just to the trainers, since Jess and Lucas were the ones who usually left him still hacking away in the room, and Scott knew since Scott was bound to notice Liam's absence more than most. Anyone who met Liam though might not be surprised to learn that he often stayed after hours to get in some solo time with the training weapons. It wasn't a habit, persay, just something that Liam went to whenever he had no other productive way to let it out that wouldn't get him (and probably Scott) in a heap of trouble. The guy had a lot of aggression to work out, though it was more like a seemingly endless supply of anger that was never completely gone, just waiting right below the surface for the chance to get provoked.
Understandably one of the reasons that the pair of Lannister reincarnates kept getting under his skin so easily, despite the fact that they're also just major assholes. Anyone would get angry, though maybe not like he did. Liam tended to see red whenever that reincarnate of Jaime Lannister came skulking around the boards, it wasn't rational, it was a completely emotional reaction (mostly just anger) that he had that he couldn't immediately curb. Liam had never been very good at curbing his impulses, one of the reasons he'd ended up injured and discharged from the Army. But this, this was a lot different. For one, Robb had some pretty unsavory history with the guy in Rico's head. And two, Liam's own brother was the last one to have Jaime Lannister for a reincarnate, before he died. Liam hadn't talked about that to anyone except Scott, but every time he encountered the asshole on the boards, that was always the first thing on his mind and it was a hard one to shake. So he lashed out. It was stupid, he knew that, despite the fact that the man most likely deserved it since he was still a dick. Liam should just get over it because there was literally nothing he could do about it, but that was the thing about emotions. They weren't always rational, and Liam was even less rational about dealing with them.
He was at least making a considerable effort to stay off the boards when he felt the urge to cause another scene. It had happened enough times now that he was sure the next time Zach might actually kill him and Scott, and Liam could be stubborn but he wasn't stupid. He knew when he was pushing his luck. So, instead of continuing to engage, he'd actually stopped before things went too far. And then he'd spent the rest of the week in the training room, going a little harder than usual because he couldn't really do anything else. Sometimes he really hated being Robb's reincarnate, hated all the baggage it came with, but most of all he hated that his brother was still dead and that smug son of a bitch was here instead. It made him so angry Liam felt like he was going to explode, or kill something. More accurately, kill the dummy he was currently slashing wildly at with one of the training room swords. What? It was an easy way to let off some steam. He'd already worked up enough of a sweat on his own that he'd long since abandoned his shirt, face already flushed and he could feel his muscles starting to get tired but he didn't stop. Liam was so in the zone that he didn't even hear when someone else came in, the only sounds he heard were his own grunts and the blunted sword making contact with his inanimate opponent.
