David had just been looking forward to a nice, normal Halloween night. Maybe some candy, definitely a few parties. Being a rockstar had its perks, which meant he was usually invited to all the best ones. But tonight had other plans for David, other things in store for him as soon as he put on his costume. A costume perhaps in poor taste considering Dean's sordid history with vampires, but David thought it was funny. Twilight was pretty stupid, but come on, vampires? Vampires were always a classic costume choice for Halloween. Sure, he hated those Overbite dicks as much as the next REDO member, but that wasn't going to stop him tonight. If anything, the hot transylvanian accent he'd been practicing was sure to get him some action tonight.
Probably a little more action than he'd actually been bargaining for.
The change had come as soon as he'd put on the costume, and David was nowhere to be found. In his place was just something that looked like him, with a full head of fangs where David's fake ones used to be and supernatural yellow eyes, with sickly pale skin that felt like ice to the touch. Dressed all in black and dark reds, if it weren't for his facial appearance he might have simply passed for a goth, but if nothing else his hunger would eventually give him away. A hunger that went so deep it was in his very bones, a dry aching against his lifeless organs that crawled up his throat and could never be fully quenched. An emptiness that could never be completely filled. He only craved one thing: blood.
It was the scent of blood that had led him to this party. The countless bodies stacked together like sardines in one house, all that adrenaline pumping through their veins and their heart beats melding together until they were thumping in unison in his ears. He could smell their blood and sweat from here, calling to him like sirens, and he had no choice but to follow the near-euphoric scent. The party was packed, and even in his current state, the vampire could tell that not all was right with this particular party. He could smell out the humans easily, but there were others in here. Others that weren't entirely human, or not human at all that were amidst the throngs of bodies vibrating and jumping around to the hard bass of the music, circling the drink tables or already plastered together in dimly lit hallways. He wasn't human himself, so it didn't bother him any. He was already zeroing in for the kill, noticing someone who looked so good he could practically taste them already. The vampire moved in to get a closer look at his prey.
