WHO: Hannah Ryan and OPEN!
WHAT: Dreaming!
WHERE: Dreamland
WHEN: Tuesday morning, but she's not really feeling like time has passed.
WARNINGS: Violence, language, scary shit?
This wasn't Sam's first time being transported somewhere new. In fact, the youngest Winchester had lost count of how many times he'd been transported, killed, stuck in an alternate Trickster dimension, gone to heaven or hell, or even entered somebody's dream. Most hunters didn't go that far into the job, but he had, and now it was paying off. While Hannah hadn't had many experiences in the world of the supernatural, she was lucky enough in this endeavor to have a Winchester on board. They could handle the strange together.
And strange it was. The place resembled her reoccurring nightmare to the 'T.' It was the interior of her childhood home, still and quiet in the dark save for the sound of her mother washing dishes in the sink. For a brief second she wanted to believe that what she was experiencing was real; maybe just this once she'd see her mother again, even a glimpse into her life when her family was normal. If she tried hard enough she could forget that this was wrong.
Focus, Hannah. We need to know how we got here. The Trickster might be here, or there could be a Djinn.
"I know," She muttered, but it was clear she was ignoring him. Her footsteps were taking her to the warm glow of the kitchen light where she could see the back of her mom's robe, exactly as she remembered it from that night. She didn't want to say anything because she knew what happened next in her nightmares, but the temptation was too great. Maybe this time she could change it.
"Mom?" Softly, and then a little louder. "Mom?"
The woman whipped around as though startled--but it wasn't like the dream Hannah usually had. On a normal night her mom would just be her mom and then the man would come and kill them both, leaving Hannah powerless to stop it again. But when her mom turned around it wasn't her, not really. The woman's eyes were a dark black, and the manacing grin on her face distorted her features into something evil. Blood poured from holes in her abdomen that resembled knife wounds. Hannah immediately took a horrified step back.
RUN!
