Who: Willette Sullivan
What: Being the change she wants to see in the world
Where: The Baxter Building, where the Maximoffs currently inhabit
When: Saturday night, August 18th 2013, around 3 AM
Warnings: None
Willette was tired of being pushed around. It was one of the few things Wanda could relate to where it came to the strange, angry young brunette who now had possession of all of Wanda's gifts and more. Willette Sullivan was an angry girl, and that more than anything was reason enough not to act on emotion when you could do what she could.
Unfortunately, that's also the only way she knew how.
Her older brother Scott, her asshole of a reincarnated father, her real father six feet under, even Logan Fox, all they wanted to do was control her. Even when they seemed like they were only trying to help, Willette knew the truth. They wanted to mold her, manipulate her into what they wanted, not what she wanted, they didn't give a shit about her in the end. Just what they could use her for. Wanda had spent years under her father's thumb doing what he wanted, what the Brotherhood wanted. Willette was the Brotherhood now, her and Mason, and no one was going to push her around anymore.
She'd spent the better part of the night pacing the Baxter building, once the home of the Fantastic Four before she and Mason happened. Willette and her brother took what they wanted and made no apologies for it, but even now Willette was restless. She wanted to do something, even if she'd been pushed to it. She didn't care who wanted it, she wanted it now, but she wasn't going to play by anybody's rules. Not Logan's, not Mathias', not anyone who thought they knew better in this fucked up little community. She would make her own rules. Screw everybody else, they thought they had it bad now? She'd show them.
Close your eyes. It will come to you naturally.
It was the first time Wanda had ever given Willette any real guidance, and Willette was so taken by surprise that she did what she was told. Her eyes closed, and her fists opened. Red energy crackled around her like electricity and when Willette's eyes opened again, she opened her mouth only to say the first three words that came to her.
"No more war."
In that moment, the whole world changed.
