What: Harvey's birthday party
Where: The Bennett house in Chula Vista, CA
When: Thursday night, July 15th 2010
Warnings: EVERY KIND OF WARNING THEIR IS. Copious amounts of alcohol and beautiful people? When you drink with the Serenity crew, always expect bar fights and naughty times. It's just a given.

When it came to a good party, Alex was all business. She'd arrived that afternoon loaded down with various supplies, most notably a case full of make up, a bag full of clothes and a bottle of tequila. For two hours she and Clem had drank and dressed each other up, though Alex was a much more willing participant in the latter than Clem was. After she'd finally gotten Clem into a dress and made her stay in it, she squeezed herself into her favorite red number and the party really began.

As expected, Mr. Bennett was already drunk as a skunk with his daughter and her friend not too far behind him. People started arriving around seven, and half way through the swing of things Alex had taken it upon herself to play fake hostess since Harvey was too drunk too remember to do it and Clem was too busy falling all over herself to pour straight. It was a good ass night.

Currently Alex was draping herself across the kitchen counter as she poured some random a shot of vodka and sent him on his way. "CLEEEEMM! COME TAKE ANOTHER SHOT WITH MEE!"

She practically collapsed with laughter when someone walked in on them. God, she'd turned in to one of those people. "Pretty sure I know something that'll be empty." Well, empty or easily vacated. It was her house after all, and she'd had the foresight to lock her door before they'd come downstairs. She'd gone up entirely too many times to find some wayward couple trying to make use of her space. Never. Again. This time, she'd be the one that was giggling in the dark. That was kind of weird to think about, but the warm buzz created from a combination of vodka and kissing blocked out any doubts that she might have had.

Clementine led the way down the hall and up the stairs, her hand wrapped around his, dodging the people who were blocking the way. Next time her dad decided to issue an open invitation, they were going to have to have a long talk about what that meant. For now, she was entirely too distracted to worry about what these hordes of people might be doing to everything they owned. When they got to her door, she flicked the lock that was placed at the top of the frame, put there just to keep drunk people out. "Here we go."

Tugging him in to the dark room, she laughed again and gave him a quick peck. There was probably something she should tell him, just in case this went any further. Taking a deep breath, and trying not to giggle, she jumped straight in to it. "You should know, I'm a lesbian."

She obviously knew her way around this house. That was convenient. Following her, hand in hand, they did a pretty good job of weaving through the crowd. This place was even bigger than he'd originally thought, and even more full of people. "Nice place."

He laughed and let her draw him into the dark room. He slid his arms around her, enjoying the feeling of her pressed up against him. He was pretty distracted, pressing a kiss to the side of her neck and ready to take this a little further when she made her odd confession. It took him a couple seconds to process what she'd said. He was fairly certain he knew what a lesbian was, and it didn't make a lot of sense in this context. Apparently she wasn't a very committed one, at the moment. What she'd said before about not having kissed a guy in awhile finally filtered through his booze soaked brain. Lorne laughed. Well, that explained it. There was something bizarrely hot about that. Besides the obvious if slightly skewed male logic that assumed that the only better than one sexy girl was two sexy girls, there was the undeniable ego boost of being the exception to her rule, as it were.

"Is that so?" He grinned wickedly. "I hope you don't think I am or you are in for one hell of a surprise..."
