Who: Justin Anderson, Lillie White & Eleanor Anderson (posting order?)
What: Dean's meeting the parents? Or one of the parents. The one he's most afraid of.
Where: Justin's apartment in Denver, Colorado
When: Saturday afternoon, May 28th, 2011.
Warnings: None? Just awkwardness.

It was another lazy Saturday, the kind that Justin always loved. He'd helped his dad out at the shop that morning, worked on his car a little, worked out. Now he was at home on the couch with the television blaring and food. Glorious food. Cassie was still visiting her brother so the apartment was a little quieter than usual. That is until Lillie came over. Things never stayed quiet for long when in the company of one or both of the Winchesters, but Justin didn't mind and neither did Jo. At least it kept things interesting.

Justin had decided to grill some hamburger meat so now they were enjoying the fruits of his labor, momentarily ignoring the unnecessary mess they'd made in the kitchen as well as the rest of the apartment's mess. The place had never been completely clean since Cassie had more or less moved in, and between his stuff and all her girly stuff the floors and furniture were usually cluttered with some sort of weird combination of the two.

At the moment he was too tired to care, and he was just beginning to settle himself into the obligatory food coma when there was a knock on his door. Justin groaned, turning to Lillie with a pleading look. "Mind getting that? If I try to stand up I might explode..." It was nice, how comfortable this already felt.

Lillie had a problem, and that problem was Justin Anderson. Not that he was a problem, per se (even though he was) – he was just... time-consuming. And jet lag-inducing. And pine-worthy. Things were starting to get pretty serious with them, if only because this was starting to be a routine. Every few days or so, Lillie would come visit him, or Justin would come visit her, and they would hang out (and eat), watch stupid TV (and eat), make out a little (they wouldn't eat here) and then maybe sleep (again with no eating), if they had the time. Lather, rinse, repeat. Justin was a habit now. An addictive one. And that was...

... Well, maybe it wasn't a problem. Now that she was with Justin, Lillie had honestly never been so happy in her life, as corny and chick-flicky as that sounded, but it was the truth. Because Dean was happy, too. And that? That was a rare feat. Apart from food, hardly any of Dean and Lillie's interests coincided, but with Justin it was different. For Lillie, he was the perfect boyfriend. For Dean, he was a second chance with Jo. And, just like Lillie, for the first time in his life, Dean was truly happy. Which made him a little uncomfortable. Slowly but surely, however, he was getting used to it. Lillie considered that a victory. And she celebrated with three huge bacon cheeseburgers, so thoughtfully provided by the aforementioned perfect boyfriend. With extra onions, of course. Wasn't the same without the onions.

Naturally, though, the moment she finished the last one was the moment someone just had to knock on the door, followed by the moment Justin just had to ask her to answer it. For a moment she just stared at him blankly, then stood up and punched his gut weakly, groaning as she made her way to the door. "Sure, make the girl with a food baby answer the door. No prob, Fatty McLazy. It'd be my pleasure..."

Her tone was very Dean, but her face was very Lillie – fond and playful and perpetually childish. As she reached for the doorknob, she looked over her shoulder at Justin and shouted just as she opened the door, "Also you pout like a giiiirl!" ... only to turn back around to see the last person she ever expected standing on Justin's doorstep.

Her face fell, her eyes widened, and panic overcame her. Regrettably, she slammed the door. When she turned slowly back toward Justin, she looked for all the world like a deer in the headlights; when she spoke, she sounded legitimately terrified. Because she was. Because this was bad on every single level.

"Uhh. It's, uh. It's your m... om..."

It had been a rather difficult past few weeks for one Eleanor Anderson. More so than usual, it was one dramatic event after another and things just seemed to want to pile up and make her absolutely insane. And maybe, just maybe, recent events had led her to worrying a bit too much, but could you blame her? She was, after all, a mother who worried plenty about her family enough as it was, but to throw in this reincarnate business? Let alone just who they were... it got to be a bit much. Recent events at the Agency and with her homelife had shaken her more than she cared to admit or acknowledge and she hated it. A lot. Her youngest daughter was hurting and there was little she could do to help or stop it other than offer to spend time with her and try to distract her from thinking too much. Justin and the others... well. She didn't even like to think about those 'adventures' they went on. Neither did Ellen, for that matter, but she was also one to encourage things - it was better to be involved and doing something than sitting on the sidelines doing absolutely nothing at all. It was something that they could both agree on: sitting idly by was hardly the best option for anyone. That didn't make things easier, but it was a better way to focus instead of thinking on All Things That Could Possibly Go Wrong.

She ran a hand through her hair and sighed heavily before adjusting the strap on her shoulder and sliding out of her car, shutting and locking the door behind her. After a brief pause, she made her way towards the apartment building with her brow furrowed in thought. Lately, she'd been trying to make even more of an effort to get out of the office and away from the shop and focus on her family. Their friends. Eleanor had never been one to neglect them in the first place, but with everything that had happened she felt obligated and pushed to try even harder to make those bonds a little stronger. Sure, it was probably a bit annoying and eyeroll-worthy and sappy as all hell (a word that didn't usually go with her), but she honestly didn't care. It was something that was important to her. Always had been, always would be. Besides, she hadn't been at Justin's apartment in a while and had been wanting to see it... so it was a win/win situation. At least for her, it was. Others may not have particularly agreed with that sentiment, but did she care? No. Not really.

Of course, she was oblivious to anything going on inside the apartment or anyone else who would be there, so when the door opened and a face she wasn't expecting was the one behind it, both brows shot up in surprise (though, there was the slightest hint of amusement there as well) and she lifted a hand in partial greeting. "Hel-"

... but then the door slammed right in her face. Well, then. She folded her arms over her chest and stared at the now-closed door for a moment before knocking again, a bit harder this time. She wasn't angry, no. Annoyed, sure, but not particularly angry. "... Justin?" Eleanor's hand went to her hip as she stared at the closed door. Just what the hell was that about?

"... So your knee jerk reaction was to shut the door on her?" Justin stared back at Lillie in incredible, wide eyed disbelief, just as spooked as she was that his mom had just randomly decided to show up but now also irrationally afraid of how her mood was probably changing now. Jo was muttering a string of expletives in his head with the occasional 'moron' intended at Dean as always, but for once Justin had to ignore her. He had to think fast. How could he salvage this?

With a quick look around, he realized that was impossible. Even if Lillie hadn't slammed the door in his mom's face, there was still the matter of the current state of his apartment. All this girl stuff lying around wasn't even Lillie's, his girlfriend's, but they were still girl stuff, and he hadn't exactly told his mother that Cassie had been crashing here. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but if she thought they were Lillie's...

Then he cursed, realizing he'd been spending too much time thinking and more than a few seconds had passed since the unfortunate door slamming so he shot up off the couch and ran to the door. If they waited any longer his mother would be pissed off and suspicious for sure, so he pushed past Lillie and threw the door open to greet Eleanor Anderson. His mother, and apparently also the reincarnate of Jo's mom. ... Still really weird. "Mom, hey! Good to see you. What, uh- What brings you here?"

"I don't know! She snuck up on me! And she's – she's tall!" Lillie's voice was a high, mortified whine as she clapped her hands to her face, looking around wildly for something to hide behind or a... window to jump out of, something, because this? This was not the impression she wanted to make the first time she met Justin's mother. Like Dean, Lillie didn't do parents, precisely for this reason. She got nervous, and when that happened her tendency to act like a spazztastic bimbo took over, and then things like this happened. She got nervous, and she got stupid. Ugh. This was so bad.

Through her fingers she sent Justin a thousand apologies with wide, horror-struck eyes as he rushed to the door to greet his mother properly. As soon as the door opened, Lillie ducked behind Justin to hide, yet went up on her toes to peek over his shoulder, trying to be inconspicuous but failing miserably. The sight of his mom with her hand on her hip, so very reminiscent of Ellen, made Lillie's eyes go even wider. "Ohhh, god," she whispered just below Justin's neck. "Redo. I demand a redo!"
