As the dust settles

Things of Note:
• The Ministry is in talks to assemble a commission to investigate the attacks and assure the safety of all wizarding citizens.
• The quidditch season has been officially postponed
• Majority of the residents of Diagon Alley get the clear to move back in on Thursday.

As the dust settles
Sunday, 22 December 2030 - Tuesday, 24 December 2030
(ROUGHLY 26 APRIL - 8 MAY 2010)

Things of Note:
• On Sunday, for the first time in decades there is no Daily Prophet published
• Casualty reports continue to fluctuate - no firm numbers will come for a few more days
• Talk radio is filled with commentary about the attacks
• St. Mungo's is overrun with patients and families trying to locate loved ones
• DMLE officials are out in force to increase security and all large scale events have been postponed or cancelled
• Residents of Diagon Alley, still unable to return home, still looking for somewhere to sleep will be offered rooms at Hogwarts in the interim.

The Day the World Ended
Saturday, 21 December 2030
(ROUGHLY 18 APRIL - 25 APRIL 2010)

Things of Note:
• Last Saturday before the holidays and dozens of sales have people out in mass at Diagon Alley
• Explosions will go off at 12:21 p.m. at three main locations:
→ Leaky Cauldron - The explosion on main floor destroying the entire building and killing a lot of people inside.
→ Gringott's Bank - The explosion destroyed lobby and approximately a quarter of private banks vaults, destroying the valuables kept inside the vaults.
→ Daily Prophet Headquarters - Fortunately it was a Saturday and there were less people in the offices that day and the explosion was placed so that it destroyed the structure of the building but not many of the workers inside.
• Shortly following the attacks, the floo network will go down due to too much traffic.
