Who: EVERYONE? Basically anyone that can legit find a reason to be at this party!
What: Thanks to Abigail it's become common knowledge that Lydia has the apartment to herself until Saturday, so it's party time at the Apostolos place! Tons of people get invited and it may swing a little out of control when some gods begin to arrive with their vessels!
Where: The Apostolos Apartment above the Antique Shop and Showroom.
When Friday at eight!

Everything had to be perfect, so that meant cleaning not only her stupid room but Phil's and her mother's master bedroom too. She left the stupid temple room for last and just before she got picked up to do shopping with Abigail she said, "fuck it!" and just hoped no one would go in if she told them not to. As much as she didn't give a shit about the offerings to Apollo she did give a shit about her mother's wrath at a wrecked altar. It was important to her, blasphemous to remove anything until Corrine did the proper rituals. God she hoped drunk ass fools wouldn't wreck shop there!

Hours later (and after WAY to many trips into fitting rooms for someone like Lydia) she was hosting her first legit Manhattan party. It wasn't swank (hell, it wasn't a loft or studio, but three bedrooms was pretty big regardless) and she was sure there were more hoppin' places to go that night but at least she would have her girls and Oliver. Those were the only people she cared about.

And then everyone and their moms showed up. Christ, she was just thankful that someone had the bright idea to invest in food as well as alcohol. There were bowls of chips and dip on a table in the middle of the living room and in the fridge was so much beer she didn't even think there was room for any actual food in the damn thing! She had purchased a couple bottles of liquor for shots and kept them in the freezer and someone thought to bring even more so there was no end to the possibilities of how fucked up they could get. On her television through her brother's x-box live she brought up Zune that was playing through some pretty good music, a playlist of things she, Abigail, and Lori all liked.

This was either going to be stupidly epic or an epic fail or maybe? Maybe both.

There were people who believed that her French accent was indeed a fake one, designed for her act as Angelique and those rare moments when she actually talked. Few of them realized that the accent was indeed a real one, forged through early exposure to the real deal from since she was eight years old. A grin appeared as he came closer. "That's me." Bright blue eyes carefully took him in and she raised her glass to her lips. "You're the lawyer," she correctly guessed and then had a sip. A good girl never forgot who held all the cash in their pockets.

But a chuckle inevitably followed as she eyed the other man with a playful twinkle in her eyes. "You mean, you didn't recognize me with my clothes on? I am shocked." But a nod to acknowledge that everything was going alright at work.

He never had any doubt that her accent was real. But then, that was one of the few powers that Thoth still had full access to in this reality. He had taught language to the mortals, after all, and the ones of this modern world were quite simple compared to those of his time. But, he grinned at her as he tilted his head. “I’m sure you see more than your share of lawyers. You do seem to be a favorite of ours.” Or his associates.

“Isn’t that what we’re supposed to say?” He asked as he tilted his head slightly. “I had, though it took a moment. You must be the girl Lydia mentioned who’s going to liven everything up.” And make everyone forget her, it was an amusing thought, though he just shook his head at that. “Interesting company that girl and her family keeps, don’t you agree?”

"And they're a favorite of mine." An all knowing twinkle in her eyes, another sip from her concoction. It was all about the money anyway and they knew it. She let a chuckle escape and all too gladly nodded. "Give me time, I just got here."

She tilted her head to look at the man, eyes tightening ever so slightly. All she could see were masses of people that Lyds might or might not know - and the coin definitely had to fall on the other side of the 'known' equation at this time of the party. "I've never met with her family." And that was all she could really throw in there. "I'm not so sure they'd approve of a ballerina turned stripper." Her own mother didn't, that was for sure.

Oh, he wasn’t foolish enough to think it was anything else than the money. Even though some of his co-workers often thought otherwise, that the girls they paid to sit on the laps actually cared about them. The thought had always amused him, and it had amused Thoth even more. “Awww, we have to wait to see you become the life of the party?” he said with a grin.

A chuckle escaped Samuel as he regarded her again for a moment. “Oh, I think most mothers of good girls would object to that. Never quite understood it myself. Unless, of course, you’re dragging her out to drug filled orgies.” He just grinned at her before he turned his attention to the table. “But, I think I was supposed to fix you a drink, was I not?”

Laughing, Lori shook her head and shrugged playfully. "Oh, not if I wanted to have fun, I wouldn't." Knowing Lydia, she'd pointed everything out and that meant explanations and all of the things that weren't exactly on her mind. Her smile blossomed into a smirk that would have made even the Joker proud. "Yes."

She had no doubt that he'd make the strongest he knew, but she'd take him on the challenge anyway. Still holding her glass, she pointed at the bottles. "Surprise me. Dazzle me." And maybe she'd get blissfully drunk and maybe then the party could begin.

Oh, Thoth had decided that the girl needed to be rip roaring drunk if only because she had dared a stranger to make her the strongest drink he knew. And if anyone would know a strong drink, it would be Thoth, even more so than his vessel. And so, Samuel stood there for a moment looking at the assembled drinks, and he let Thoth quiet down for a moment as he considered all the possible combinations.

Once he had that, Samuel took a glass and set it on the table. Then, he would add a little from this bottle, and a little from that one. In fact, he would take a little bit from every single bottle on the table, though there would be more from some than others. And the whole concoction would have a very nice blue-green look before he added just a touch of soda to it to enhance the flavor.

Then, he held the drink up to her. “Mummy’s Curse.” He said with a grin. And it would be strong. As strong a mixed drink as one could make with what had been left over.

"Mummy's curse," she repeated as she shot him an unimpressed look. Maybe he liked those mummy movies, but nothing could excuse such a lame title. "Well, I know it's better than it sounds." And that was easy to admit, because she'd watched him carefully as she was quenching the desire to pinch him in the sides. She wasn't sure if Lyds could forgive her for any stains in her mother's carpet. The drink's beautiful color could partially be blamed on the blue Curacao, that much she knew.

And luckily for him, she was fearless enough to try it. "Thank you," she told him as she took the glass and had a sip. It was strong, she'd give them that, but it was also just a touch too sweet. "Now you," she told as she held out her glass, with red lipstick on its brim.

He just grinned at her as he shook his head. Oh, she would understand the name soon enough. Some drinks didn’t hit you right away, some took a few moments before you actually felt their bite. Much like the mummy’s curse, it killed you later, not right away. “I said I could mix it, never said I was good at naming them.”

A brow arched at her even as he smirked a little bit and he took her drink. “I don’t remember saying I was going to play guinea pig too..” he said with a shake of his head. But, he took it and tipped his head back to take a long gulp from it. “Not bad. Not quite as strong as I would’ve expected from you..”
