Who: Lydia and Neptune [Reed]
What: Lydia man's the front register again while her mom works the showroom to prepare for some items being returned to their rightful owners, namely Neptune.
Where: Apostolos' Antiques
When: Sunday afternoon
"You will show him much respect little girl," Lydia's mother was good at wagging her finger at Lydia. She did it all the time to the point where Lydia was pretty much used to ignoring it and rolling her eyes, which only incurred more finger wagging.
"And don't you roll eyes at me, feh! You disrespect a powerful, powerful.."
"God, MOM. I won't, promise. Just go get things ready I know you're freaking out, take a chill pill!"
"I will give you a pill to chill, young lady," but her mother did just as suggested and went into the back showroom to carefully remove the trident in question and prepare it for proper transport. It wasn't as if Neptune could just walk around the city holding it like it was no big deal. She had a special case for it that would keep it safe as he moved it to his home and then after that? It was his to with it as he pleased, as he should.
Once her mom was gone she settled back onto the glass counter top where her mother hated her sitting most and she once again had her little ukulele with her to pass the time. It was starting to rain outside so she hadn't bothered straightening her hair and instead allowed it to fall across her shoulders in long, thick curls. Cold as it was still she wasn't planning on being outside much so she took to wearing a black gypsy skirt that hit at her knee and a blue tanktop with a black, thin cardigan sweater. She had also forgone glasses to avoid having to wipe them down if she did happen to venture out.
She sang softly to herself some random diddy as she played, pausing after someone walked in. Lydia squinted then smiled brightly.
"Ooh, you look like you're ready for a business meeting!"
