i completely forgot about halloween. well not forgot but just didn't realize. and it's not technically for a while but so far i've seen stuff in a lot of stores. time to start figuring out what to dress up as i suppose. i don't remember the last time i did any of it, weird.

Just as weird, I should say, is seeing halloween costumes of yourself.

It makes me want to reconsider my wardrobe.

huh yeah that is weird. maybe you should go as your opposite? and get new stuff too maybe? it took me a little bit to get new things because i'd gotten so used to my clothes so i can get how that is.

I'm not sure I know who my opposite would be. Perhaps R2-D2, but it's hard to say Because it certainly isn't.

But yes, when something is comfortable it can be hard to... adjust, I suppose. Not that I'm against change.

i don't really know what, or who, that is either. and change is hard sometimes. i got so used to one thing, because it was all there was, but also wanted new things. so i just combine the two. not that i'm saying people need to do that, it's just how i got over not wanting to let something go, but i knew i had to too.

i'm also not sure if that makes sense, because it makes sense to me.

Sort of meeting the idea halfway, isn't it? That's not a bad approach, at all. You know, as they say - things are best in moderation.

yeah a little like that. and if you give it a try and don't like it that's still your choice and no one can make you feel bad about it. even if you decide not to try that's still true.

Some might argue that there is no

It's a funny thought for me, really. Just, to speak plainly, I've always been taught to look at the world in heavy contrast. As if there is only a thing or it's opposite, and no real room for the middle ground.

Though, I don't know if I believe in any of that, anymore.

I've been to the shops and seen this stuff, as you say. Some of it is very gruesome.

What? The gruesome part? I should say not. I find it disturbing and not appropriate for young ones.

halloween's all about spooking people though, and kids expect to get scared. it's the season.

Spooked yes, but not traumatized. I saw packages with severed body parts.

Yeah, finding out you're a fictional character takes a lot out of you. That's true. But I'm don't even know if I want to celebrate Halloween right now.

it's never fun, but i found finding good things tends to help. but you don't need to celebrate if you're not up to it.

Yeah. I did have some questions answered, so there's that. Still, it's all very weird. Well, I'm not up to it now, but maybe I'll change my mind later. Guess we'll see.

the fun part about all this is that everything is open and you can pick any choice you like. it's one of my favorites. i just can't remember when i did halloween last so i'm gonna make up for lost time.
