I confess, the reason for going to Malibu last weekend wasn't simply for recreation. I'd been told that's where my wife is buried and for a while I had a deep desire visit her.
Funny enough, I'm also buried beside her. Close to the graves of Mr and Mrs Stark, as a matter of fact. It's sobering experience, to stand before one's own grave. But I think I've come to peace with it. Life has taken on more focus.
Since I've arrived, I've fought against the future. The Tesseract may have moved me forward in time, but I struggled to remain in my past, where I found comfort. Even my Netflix queue reflected this, as I focused on primarily watching either documentaries or programs set in and around my era. I do believe it's time I start moving on.
[Private to Tony Stark (MCU)]
Are you alright? You've barely said a word, during the trip or otherwise.
