Who: Allison Argent & Scott McCall
When: after these texts from Scott
Where: their apartment » Sam's » around NYC
What: hanging out, like in a friend way
Rating: TBA, but probably low
As awkward as it was to be sharing an apartment with both Scott and Isaac, it was kind of nice, too. Like, it was a little confusing and there were times when Allison just wanted to go hide out at Lydia's and avoid them both, but since they'd been here, she and Scott had been able to reconnect in a way that just couldn't happen back home. Yeah, he was still a werewolf. He and Isaac both were. But for once werewolves and kanimas and nemetons and all that bad stuff wasn't the focus on their lives. She'd been joking about the dishwasher thing, but honestly, it was nice. This wasn't going to be remotely awkward, she told herself as she pulled on a pair of jeans and a shirt that was a little more appropriate for going out in public. If they were going to be wandering the streets of New York, she didn't want to go in her sweats. This wasn't a date, but that didn't mean she wanted to go out looking like a total slob. Anyway, it wasn't a date. There was no need to be nervous or expect it to be awkward. Just because it was just the two of them hanging out and just because she wasn't 100% sure she was past her feelings for him didn't mean it had to be weird. Even if she was also not 100% sure she wasn't developing feelings for Isaac, too. Denial wasn't just a river and she could pretend they were absolutely just friends, especially if he could when he'd come from a time that they were still together. Just friends, she reminded herself. This was going to be some nice normal fun. She tucked a couple of daggers away under he clothes and slipped a crossbow into her bag just in case. She'd heard through the grapevine about vampires coming through that cube and the place was pretty much crawling with werewolves. Allison didn't trust either to all be friendly and she wanted to be prepared. "Hey, I'm ready," she called out to Scott as she emerged from her bedroom at last. |
