I haven't been here for very long, but I can try to make sense of everything.

We don't know how or why we're here, but some of these people have been at this for a while. Charlie? He says it's been a long time since he's seen home.

The thing about people arriving is that anyone can come from different points in the timeline. It's why you see Remus, and Charlie's already mentioned some of the other people that are here. I'm friends with Lily Potter, it's pretty mental, but she's brilliant.
