All right, so I realize that it's the morning after prom, BUT I swear we don't have to do it too early (Nico, you're already volunteered you don't get to say otherwise), and I'm wondering if a couple more of you would be interested in helping me put up lights for Mom & Dad's wedding at Poe's place.

Like if we had 3 or 4 of us doing it, I bet we could get done really quick, and we could go get pancakes after or something.

Apparently we had to ask for people from outside of school to come like over a week ago, and I've gone and opened my big mouth and asked Hope, and it doesn't seem like she really wanted to go, so probably she won't be that offended, but I'm also wondering about the possibility of Jedi Mind Tricking the entire school into believing that she's on the list - and that's probably Dark Side or questionable anyway, isn't it?

And this is apparently because of hogs. Like someone let one lose once. What is Texas?

I already agreed to help your mother out. So you can help me with that.

Anakin, you're not an idiot and I offered too. It's what friends do. I mean, small place like this, you think asking a few people who aren't in the school would be alright. Questionable, yes, with that many people. Which isn't saying no to the idea. Would it be Dark Side if you did it for the good of someone else?

What's so bad about one hog let loose? It isn't as if someone turned the entire student body into hogs.

Maybe you're just constantly doing cute things.

I mean, I kinda feel like I'm on wedding duty for all of Saturday, to be quite honest. It's just like, you know, what you do for family.

Honestly, I don't know. I mean, I promised Clara that I wouldn't cause any trouble. Admittedly that was prior to the whole I missed the deadline for asking people who aren't at school thing. Which, I mean, can you really see Hope causing trouble at all? It feels like 'one of those rules are for other people' things.

I mean, if I'd realized? I think I could have gotten her in. Because we could have just worked together to get her name on the list like it had always been there or something. But now I've had a conversation with Clara, so like I'd have to probably like, do some sort of memory thing with her to have her forget the conversation, on top of the other thing, which feels more sketchy. Like. I can do Jedi Mind Tricks, but this doesn't really feel a good enough cause? You know? It's hardly necessary to save the world.

It was muddy, and the implication I got was that someone ruined prom so now there are rules.

I find that hard to believe.

She doesn't seem like she would. Especially not with hogs. And I didn't think it'd be a thing, but then most of the other dances I've been to haven't been school things. It was just an everyone is welcome sort of thing. But that level of mind tricking may be too much. If just, yeah, messing with people's heads isn't the best thing. Although with so many people there... who's to notice someone just appearing in a dark corner?

I'm still not seeing the ruining. Especially if past years have had the same theme as this year.

Yeah, same. I mean, we didn't really have dances at the praxeum. Fancy dinners sometimes. Dances were more like 'diplomatic territory' or whatever. And we hadn't much of that even at home when I was there last. You mean shadow travel her there?

All I know is what she said. I have no clue beyond that. But you're right. It sort of feels like hog and cowboys aren't really unexpected mixes.
