Network Post: Anakin Skywalker
Has anyone else with a connection or ability to sense a particular object of theirs found that, since arriving on this ship, you get the disorienting sense like there's more than one of it in different places? Especially if you have a lightsaber? It's been bothering me for some time now.

[Misty Knight and Howard Stark]

How are things so far with the new arm?

Good. Responds a lot faster than my other arm, especially with these pain meds.

Stay up on them. That arm - it's a part of you now. But your body has to get it, too.

We built it to learn from you, too. I'll be fascinated to see what you can do with it.

This arm does things my other one doesn't do. I can completely turn my shoulder in a complete circle.

Useful for an officer of your caliber.

Huh. I hadn't tried to change the range of motion on mine. Mine is at my elbow. I enhanced my strength and grip, but not that. Interesting idea.

Unfortunately, she didn't tell me a thing about you. The name's Howard.

Anakin Skywalker.

You don't look like a mad scientist...

Hello, Anakin. Sounds like you have experience of your own with cybernetics.

But you haven't seen me work, clearly. Mad as a hatter is usually the descriptor.

A few years with my arm. I keep it maintained myself and I've made improvements to it.

What does "mad as a hatter" mean?
