So, um, what do you do when a Pokemon somehow acquires an egg? This happened before, right? But it turned out to be a bird?

... if your pokémon has a baby, I would love to help with and be friends with it if it likes me. And I DO have experience with baby animals.

I can google, and we can do our best. Does your pokémon seem to know what conditions are good for it? Does it sit on it? What kind of nest?

Which like, I'm totally going to come over and camp out with the egg as much as it needs.

He- um she? - is curled up around it. But if it's a pokemon egg, I don't know if it follows game rules or not. In the game you have to walk to hatch the eggs.

Hmm, my inclination is to trust the egg parent. We could try taking them for a walk. See if the egg... should come with? Something?

If Fluffy's the parent. And didn't just decide this egg is theirs now.

But if it is a walking thing, I've got a comfy bag at least and work has lots of wandering, so that is doable.

How similar are pokémon egg experiences? Like treat all eggs the same? Or different by type?

Oh, I walk everywhere already. We can hatch that egg in NO TIME, if it's walking.

I really don't know. It was more about catching than hatching when we visited the Pokemon world and in the game you just find eggs and walk with them. Like how much you got to walk differs depending on type, but like with those you don't know what Pokemon the egg came from.

Guess they reproduce somehow, and we're the only source of pokémon here, so perhaps that increases the likelihood they reproduce. No one else is. So, it gets triggered somehow.

Our experience is genuine then. We don't know what pokémon we'll get.

That's true, although I like swimming in it, so I don't really want to give it over.

Even if it was a Snorlax, I think we'd have space, but I don't think we have to worry about that. I think most of them then to be smallish when they hatch. Maybe. That's at least how it seems. Small when they hatch and then they get bigger when they evolve.

Yeah, like, if it's not a Pokemon, maybe we can talk to the zoo in town about what's best for it. And if it's a Pokemon, well, we can see what hatches. Personally, I'm fine with just Fluffy and Mrs. O'Leary and Jibacca.

Huh... so they can't change their voice even if they change their appearance... interesting.

Recent or is there a time range? Because my fiance has a Riolu and Fluffy does wander between the Camp and the graveyard, so she might have had some interactions I wasn't aware of.


You said to my ears... could you talk to Fluffy for a better idea of it all?

Me. That was me. Well, Captain America's Pokemon had the egg, and he gave it to me. It was an emu.
