What was intended to be a nice family dinner, turned a little more exciting when Fen's water broke in the middle of the appetizer courses. They abandoned their dinner, Ren throwing some credits at the wait staff, while he commandeered a speeder to drive them fast as only a Solo (and a Force sensitive one) could drive.

A very nice and patient droid attendant saw them into a room, where they were able to check Fen over, as Ren hovered around, and Eliot texted Victor, the family and close friends with their location in case anyone wanted to come by and join them as they waited.

Around 2 o'clock in the morning on the twnety-ninth, the newest Waugh-Solo safely and successfully made her appearance into the galaxy, and was cleaned, and given into the care of her mother and fathers, so that they could all do some rest and also decide what name she would be given.

After sunrise, Ren would text anyone who was not in the Medical Center already to let them know the outcome, introduce them to Hanna Evans Waugh-Solo and friends or family would be welcome to come by during that afternoon or the next day before they release the family to return to Atomica.

	Fen is exhausted, but she can't sleep. Her eyes are glued to the baby. Leia was right about their technology being advanced, maybe more so than Earth. She should sleep but when the baby isn't in her arms, her eyes refuse to close. "She's perfect." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

For the first time in a long time, there was actual complete contentment as Ben watched Fen and their daughter. She was perfect, tinker than he’d thought possible and he was pretty certain the utter terror of maybe messing her up would set in sooner rather than later but for the moment he could relax. He shifted a hand against Eliot’s shoulder for a moment before he reached a finger out to touch her head.

“She needs her name,” he murmured quietly. There was no reason to not give her one now and he’d already had to give the medical assistant a prod that they’d forgotten something important.

There was a twitch of a smile at Fen's statement. There was no truer words as far as El was concerned. His own hand reached up, patting against Ren's momentarily, before he shifted to come around to sit against the edge of Fen's bed. He extended his hand to her as his eyes remained on the crib, watching Ren's gentle touch to her head.

"Mmm," Eliot vocalized. There'd not been any outward discussion of this but for a very long time, he'd had it in his heart what he'd like to attribute to their daughter. "Is surnames out of the question?" He asked gently, knowing how his husband had felt about the idea of tying a child to another's legacy by a shared namesake.

	Ben is listening to this and considering. "If it works as a front name, I don't have a problem with it, I don't think, but I do have a suggestion?" He runs his thumb over her hair and her head, which feels so wrinkly still, and he pulls in a breath. "What about Hanna? It's not really named after someone, but." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

She felt like a Hanna to Ren, and looking at her more than ever. He touched a finger to her head, it was so soft, if a little wrinkly, and he was a little afraid to do anything more than a finger, because she was just so small. What if he damaged her somehow?

"It's for Hanna City, where I was born," he looked between his spouses. "I got the idea when we were laying on the floor, looking at Chandrila's sky. I didn't know if it would feel right when they arrived, but I think it does? What name were you thinking El?"

	Fen's eyes drooped but refused to close. She was tired, but the medical care on Naboo was exceptional. It had been a much easier delivery than... She focused on their voices. Hanna was safe. They were safe. That was all that mattered. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Eliot's head tilted just slightly and there was a shift of his expression. The fact Ben was chosing to gift their daughter with a piece of his history, his home, wasn't lost on Eliot. Soon enough, he was nodding his head. "Hanna," he repeated, as if that was all that was needed to make it official.

He drew in a breath. "Evans." He was unsure if either of them understood that Petunia was an Evans from the outset, not a Dursley, so it felt important to draw attention to that now. "For Petunia," he explained, with just the slightest hint of sadness.

He glanced between them both.

	She nodded her head. Hanna Evans was here and safe now. She had no association with either name chosen. That part wasn't important. Their baby was here, alive and well, and everything had gone as well as it could. Fen let the weight of her head weigh it back down on her pillow, but she didn't look away from the crib. 	Ben leaned down to press a kiss to Fen's head, and glanced up at Eliot. "Hanna Evans Waugh-Solo," he murmured, a bit of a welcome to the world. She was going to be okay. She was here. Fen was okay. He took a seat in the empty chair nearest him and breathed out, content. (Reply to this) (Parent)
