What was intended to be a nice family dinner, turned a little more exciting when Fen's water broke in the middle of the appetizer courses. They abandoned their dinner, Ren throwing some credits at the wait staff, while he commandeered a speeder to drive them fast as only a Solo (and a Force sensitive one) could drive.

A very nice and patient droid attendant saw them into a room, where they were able to check Fen over, as Ren hovered around, and Eliot texted Victor, the family and close friends with their location in case anyone wanted to come by and join them as they waited.

Around 2 o'clock in the morning on the twnety-ninth, the newest Waugh-Solo safely and successfully made her appearance into the galaxy, and was cleaned, and given into the care of her mother and fathers, so that they could all do some rest and also decide what name she would be given.

After sunrise, Ren would text anyone who was not in the Medical Center already to let them know the outcome, introduce them to Hanna Evans Waugh-Solo and friends or family would be welcome to come by during that afternoon or the next day before they release the family to return to Atomica.

Fray was probably there early, fidgeting and trying to pretend not to be weird.

I assume Q is gonna show up?

Eliot is very glad that they can text Victor in this day and age and not have to go fetch him like you would in Fillory. And Eliot 100% trusts Victor over droids. Sorry, not sorry on this one.

She was probably at dinner with them so Eliot would give her a quick hug before running into the room with Fen/Ren?

I mean Q totally got texted!

Lolol. It’s a good time. Victor’s been careful about going too far since you know, he knew it was coming up. This is his first birth, but hey he’s got this. He’ll be calm and chill about it and probably have an emotion about it later with Elizabeth. Lol. But he’ll stick around to look after everyone if they need him or want him to.

Yeah. She’ll just sit outside and wait. Or pace outside and wait. Either way.

Yeah. He’ll show up after a bit bc he’s not immediately where they are.

Clearly, Eliot is here from the beginning. He was in the mad Speeder dash and was the texter.

Alice, possibly with Penny when she got the texts, would be uncertain if she wants to go to the hospital ahead of the baby being born. She'll have to weigh this one. Waiting rooms are not her thing, you know? But if Penny thinks they should...maybe?

There's definitely a lag in a response from Eliot. It comes back about twenty minutes later.

"Okay." Eliot is still incredibly nervous about the idea of droids and babies, but he doesn't vocalize this.

"I think he'd appreciate it."

Eliot, Fen, and I would like you to welcome Hanna Evans Waugh-Solo to the family. She was born at 2:10 this morning, and is 19" and 7 lbs 7oz. Both she and Fen are doing really well and they said we'd be able to have brief visitors later today. We're on the planet at the medical center in Theed.

It was still well before the sun was set to rise and by all accounts, they ought to be taking advantage of the opportunity to sleep. That was easier said than done, however, for Eliot didn't want to pry his gaze away from the small crib that was positioned next to Fen's hospital bed. He'd been largely silent in the early morning hour, with his chin resting against curled fingers, watching their youngest daughter's back rise and fall with every quiet breath of air. She was here, safe and sound, precisely as she had been hoped for and promised.

It was only a matter of time before the sun would rise and visitors would come. This little girl had more of a support system waiting for her than he could have ever dreamed of. Lifting his eyes, he looked contently towards both his partners, a grateful smile evident on his features. Nothing had gone wrong and months of worry felt as though they'd rolled completely off his shoulders.

Rhy and Ronan came! Rhy took about 2-2.5 hours to get here from Lake Country, and Ronan probably took some time too because even if he's close by he's not really paying attention to his tablet. So it's probably a matter of a) how far Gansey and Blue have been exploring and b) how well Gansey is paying attention to his tablet.

Rhy is so heart eyes at the baby. He will bring some kind of a present, likely something from one of the markets in Lake Country, a mobile if he can find one, and flowers and a baby blanket made here. Plus something for the happy parents.

Ronan is a little more gruff about the baby but he secretly thinks it's adorable. And he didn't bring a present, but he did offer to make them baby things while on the cruise if they need them.

Ren is also heart eyes at the baby, it is allowed Rhy. He is hovery and protective and not certain exactly what to do with her, but stay close.

Julia will totally come later in the day to check on her friends and see how they're doing. Naboo doesn't really have cigars, and she's not really sure Ben and Eliot would be into them (Margo would), but she probably found some small "congrats" trinket to bring them.

Rogue and Anka Irene would definitely show up to visit and see how the baby, dads and Mom are doing. They got the baby a teddy 🐻
