My "ears" appear to be compromised. Diagnostics are showing there is no problem, but I cannot hear anything. Not internal body sounds, nor static which my implants sometimes pick up on.

Is there someone willing to look at my implants?

Oh trust me, I'll be staying away from those. Those are personal. Are the audio implants closely connected to your memory banks? It'll help stay away from anything sensitive.

Sight and sound and databanks are intricately tied together. Painfully so He wanted to make sure he could see everything I did.

I'll be extra careful then and leave it to the external scanners. I don't want to accidentally take a peek at something.
