My "ears" appear to be compromised. Diagnostics are showing there is no problem, but I cannot hear anything. Not internal body sounds, nor static which my implants sometimes pick up on.

Is there someone willing to look at my implants?

It is unlikely, though there are cybernetic and other foreign diseases that can harm me.

This is only my ears. They were the first thing that Thanos took away from me

I can't find any connection problems or burnt transistors. They're usually the cause of such nonsense.

Oh trust me, I'll be staying away from those. Those are personal. Are the audio implants closely connected to your memory banks? It'll help stay away from anything sensitive.

Complete silence definitely sounds like a problem with the "ears" rather than your mind's ability to process audio input, but it's strange your diagnostics think everything's fine. Is this one of those wakeup situations or did you notice anything before everything went silent?

I woke up like this. I thought, perhaps, I had slept wrong and messed up some circuitry, but I have verified its integrity.

And no, I simply went to bed last night.

Last week, I was turned into a pig. This week, I have no hearing.
