It seems that quite a few curses have lifted. When should I start being concerned that my nocturnal feline adventures might become permanent? Has anyone ever not recovered from some random madness brought on by this place?

We did, yes. But Illya only ever made a move on me after prompting from you. It's possible I would still be living in denial of my feelings for him if he hadn't suddenly become talkative on that beach in Atlantis. Despite how ~~hurt~~ angry I am that he's no longer here, I wouldn't take back knowing what it felt like for him to be mine. And I'm selfish enough to want to know the same with you.

Both. He's lived a tremendously difficult life and to admit this to him would complicate things for him once more. I dont ever want to be a source of hurt and pain for him. As for myself?

Loving one person was difficult enough when it was just Illya. And you...it was always there, I think, from the moment Vinciguerra took you. But it was never to be acted upon because I knew how Illya felt about you and you about him.

But Quentin? This, between him and I, it wasn't born out of spy games and threats of death. It was something I pursued that turned into more and I want it. Desperately. And that scares me. So I deny it to spare myself the heartache when he realizes he really wants Eliot back.

You, though, I know I can fight for without feeling guilt. That Illya if ever shows back up, we will work it out because I think our feelings between us are strong enough to survive a lot. Not everything, but I know we'd fight for it. So as confusing as this all is and despite whatever guilt about Illya that I feel, I want us.

I want you.

	He's never pushed for more when we were both unattached, so why would he now just because my feelings have become something more? I'll try to be. 	I obviously cannot answer that. But I do think it's possible that he could have gotten the impression that you were not as unattached as you were hoping to seem. Just how much did you confide in him about Illya and me? Life is disappointing, Napoleon. That cannot be helped. Lying to me or withholding things from me, that is a choice you make. 	Then you could see why he might be hesitant to push for more, as you said. I think you should talk to him. Maybe not now, when you can't pull your truth punches. But test the waters.
