I should do a unit on Dadaism this year. People give so much attention to Cubism and none to this beautiful weirdness. Of course Cubism is definitely significant, but I think there's been something of a resurgence of the principles of Dadaism lately that's really interesting.

Case in point.

In the meantime... Madeira, Portugal or Koh Tao, Thailand?

I understand that completely. There's too many to commit to just one.

Kind of like you're glad you get those lessons but going back, doing it over? Hell no, just keep moving forward? The world could probably use a little more communication, meaning, and nuance these days overall. Probably stop a few misunderstandings before they start.

Something like that. It's a little unfair how it seems like you can either have a nice, easy life or develop actual character though. Not that most of the first kind ever notice.

Yeah, I kinda noticed that too. It's like the Powers That Be assume that a nice, easy life won't build character. Only way it can be done is the hard way around.

The Powers That Be are a bit of an ass sometimes.

Sometimes. Sometimes they're all right. I guess it's if you're lucky enough to catch them in a good mood.
