Those bloody Cornish Pixies took my glasses! Well, they didn't look like the Pixies of my world, but they certainly behaved like them. At least, what I got to see of them before they nicked my glasses! I hoped that they'd show up once the madness was over, but in the morning they were still gone. I had to take time off from work yesterday to go to the optometrist. What a bother! I'm practically blind without them.

On the plus side, I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses.

	It was. I would not have minded had they remained. I do not think I shall ever become used to this heat. I think they mostly thought I was their kind, but it was nice to stretch my diplomatic muscles a bit. And a bit of everything. 	Neither do I. There are a few, small areas in Tumbleweed, magical oasises created by people here, that help. Speaking of which, how fares the garden? You're always comparing and contrasting. 	They do, and there's plenty of forests nearby. It fares well. The heat is a challenge but I've gotten a fair few books on how to manage it. And on a different subject, have you seen Allison? She's not in her room. Thank you, and I feel it's only right to keep learning. A different approach will teach me how to be a better Queen for my people. And I hope so. 	I think I'd like to see England. It is where you're from so I'd like to know of it. I will ask around for something to hide my ears. Do you want it to be just us? I fear as much.
