Between the ball and the birthday parties, it's been a very social weekend.

Is anybody interested in battling their pokemon?

[Private to Charlie Weasley]

We didn't get much change to talk at the ball. How are you doing, my friend?

[Private to Sherlock Holmes (BBC)]
I haven't heard from you in a long while. Not since the cruise, actually. Is everything alright?

Not necessarily. A pokemon may remain in its unevolved pre-form for a long while before something causes the reaction.

And if you go to the website and scroll down, they still have attack and defense abilities. It likes arid environments, so you couldn't have brought it to a better place.

Baby Pokemon can fight. I'm just saying, I don't know if I SHOULD. Because it's a baby.

Yeah, she doesn't like water either.

I understand, and it's a fair assessment. Not all pokemon are inclined toward battling, either, some are just not interested. You could always train with it in private to see how it feels? Build it's strength.

Every source I read says that if you really want a close bond with your pokemon, nothing does it more deeply and intensely than battling. That is what I'd like. Not simply battling for battling's sake.

If it comes into contact with too much water, its tears are its natural way of reducing that level. Very ingenious.

Yeah, we figured that out when Murphy sprayed her with water. She doesn't cry very much anymore.

Have you given her a name?

Her name is Rocky, because she's a rock type. And because I thought she was a boy at first.

I think Rocky is a good name for either a female or male, considering as you say, she's a rock-type.

It's not very creative.
