Network Post: Anakin Skywalker
This is my third guard shift seeing my "present" and not knowing how I'm supposed to move it out of here with the power dampening. I give up trying to solve it myself and I'd rather not leave it here. It's my a bacta tank complete with all necessary equipment and the bacta itself.

Who is naturally immensely strong or comfortable using heavy lifting equipment? The tank alone is over 2 meters and 500 kilograms, which googling says is over 1000 pounds and at least 7 feet.

I need to figure out where to put it, too.

What's bacta, son?

Bacta is a substance used for medical treatments in my galaxy. In a bacta tank, you submerse yourself in it and it helps your body regenerate faster. It can be put in patches and suits, too.

That's handy. You going to share with people?

For major injuries that medical technology here can't help with, yes.

That's mighty fine of you.

Hopefully, it won't need to be used often. Numerous times, we've said we wished we had some bacta here.

Oh right, of course we don't want it to be needed.

Of course. Knowing this place, though, it probably will be.

Yeah I don't really like the way this place operates.

It's cruel. It gives a kindness only to take two away.

And you can't do anything about it.

Exactly.

More on the using heavy lifting equipment side over here. Also access to jetpacks. I don't own heavy lifting equipment, but I've used lots of sorts. Trained in scientific exploration and more. Comes with lifting heavy rocks.

Jetpacks and scientific exploration aren't exactly going to move 500 kg...

I could build something based off tech I know, but if the base or someone else HAS tech already, I can operate it. Or if you want to rent a forklift. A good enough dolly could probably handle it with a few people helping get it on there. Thank physics for what that does.

There's definitely equipment. It would be faster to use what's already here than to build something if the equipment is up to moving it a distance. Thanks for offering. Maybe if you're up for another project for the future, you could design something that lifts greater weights than what exists here?

One dolly + three strong men (two if you count yourself) should do it for you.

Greater weights or smaller/easier to operate and/or both of those. There's a lot of good tech that, if you think about what it is, at its core, you can repurpose toward whatever you need. So yeah, that's definitely doable :)

You must see more possibilities in the tech here than I do. I look and see a lot of work ahead.

If there were not much work ahead, that would be just sad. Plus, no matter where you go, there should always be a lot of work you CAN do with tech. There's so many principles in play here! And we can do more with them, even just these ones! And there's more!

I guess I don't have the same enthusiasm for backwards tech.

Sure it can be slow and frustrating, but tech is tech. Science! If people hadn't made all the discoveries they did before us, it'd have been a lot harder to do what we know so readily.

We've got something around the mansion.

Is it full of [...] bacta?

Is it all right to borrow it?

Yes, it is. That doesn't help with the weight.

Absolutely. I'll dig it out of storage and bring the van over later.

Can you remove it temporarily to move it? I'm sorry i don't really know what bacta is.

I appreciate that, thank you.

I can drain the tank-- it's a liquid-- but I'd need something to store the bacta in. Vats or barrels.

You need vats? I've got a bunch.

But do you think you should leave it with them?

I'd appreciate it if I could borrow some of them.

I'm definitely not leaving it here in the base. I was going to bring it to where I live, but there's a risk it'll get damaged or misused. Possibly pumped full of paint and glitter by the Mandalorian girl, Sabine.

Hopefully, I've got enough!

Yeah, no. Definitely not at the base, but if there's a chance it's gonna get paint or glitter in it, put it in my place. I got that whole garage that was my cargo bay.

It's been awhile since she set off an explosion around me... she might think I'm overdue.

Are you sure about that? It isn't exactly small. And it may be unsettling.

It's a bacta tank. I've seen hundreds of those.
