I have made a friend:

I hear rumour there might be a place to board my Mareep, I was wondering what more is known of this. Tis best, I think, to leave him with our own. I take him out whenever I can, but I feel he needs a pasture, with plenty of place to roam. I am more then willing to pay for his care, and assure anyone that I do not plan to just leave him and plan to visit often.

And as promised both Bruce and the Princess of Wakanda will receive his wool. I do look forward to seeing what can be made of it and would like to see about a potential garment.

You got it! Do you have a preference? A hat? Scarf? A sweater?

New Morning stables, huh? Not familiar with the place, but then again I'm still finding things out in Tumbleweed. That sounds like a great place for you to work, well suited. Is it okay for you to ask permission to ride?

Surprise me!

I found it on a stroll and once I acquired the documentations I needed I found work there. And tis, especially as I adore horses. And in truth I am not sure. I intent to prove my worth before asking such things.

That makes it easier.

Maybe you can one day get a horse of your own. Are the horses of Asgard any different than the ones here?

I'm pretty sure it won't take long to prove your worth.

Mayhaps one day. And somewhat, they were more used to Asgard and it's ways then I think the horses of Earth, although they do shared lineages.

I am grateful for your kindness. Sometimes tis hard to remind myself I am supposed to be human.

I imagine they're more hardy, Asgardian horses. They'd have to be, to keep up with Asgardians in battle. Was there really a Slepnir?

Don't mention it.

Hiding who you are from the rest? Yeah, I know that all too well.

They were yes. T'was one of my favorite things to do, to spend time with them, tis good I can do the same here. And there was, although the tale of it is somewhat different.

Tis just something to get used to and remember. Tis merely not a skill I have had to use often.

The tale of how he came into being? You mean to say he's not Loki's son? 😉

Do you use your strength when nobody's looking?

Some tales that are told among the mortals are odd ones, so no.

Only when it's necessary. I find a good way is to find the one who works the hardest, not because they wish to prove anything but because they wish to do the work and do the work well, and be somewhat less then they are. When I am asked what I have done previously I tell them I have fought. The truth, without the truth.

You're telling me.

Sounds like you have a healthy work ethic. Just make sure you're not taken advantage of.

That's good you got away with that. You're more truthful than I was.

I have read some, and t'would be interesting to know where they started.

And you are kind Bruce, but t'would be a hard thing to manage. And tis not in my nature to say things I do not mean or speak things that are not true so I found a good way to be honest without saying too much.

Overactive imaginations, most likely. That's how all tall tales start. Take a story, and to make it sound more exciting, you start embellishing details, until it's an epic. Good entertainment to be told around campfires.

Sometimes you have to do whatever's necessary to get by, and that includes not being honest. You're lucky. Don't ever change.

That much is true. Tis something we share too, telling tall tales. The grander the better, at times anyway.

I am, what is it mortals say, stuck in my ways? I fear I have long been this way, and tis unlikely I will change so have no fear friend Bruce.

You Agardians are over the top as it is, I can't imagine what one of your tall tales would be like.

With you? I have nothing to fear.

Then tis a shame you never met neither Fandral nor Volstagg for if you put both of them together then you shall have no end of tall tales, often told to outdo the other.

That much I can promise you.

Do you remember any of them? You might have to substitute for your friends.

I fear I cannot do them quite the justice they deserve but I do indeed recall them and would be happy to share them. They would approve of it, I'm sure.

That sounds like a plan! Maybe Thor can come, too. Make a party out of it.

Loki always has good tales as well, so I will try and bring him along as well.

Let me know when you've decided. I'm pretty much free, whenever.
