Thank you to all who helped deal with the various threats to the town yesterday. All threats have been neutralized or contained.

From a thorough look at various security footage from different store fronts in each location, it appears that a portal opened up in each area, releasing the various creatures into the town.

We're unsure why they activated outside of the room the portal is contained in. We're going to need to put together a team that can study the portal, inside and outside. As best we can manage.

I was studying it before we went on the ship. My lab setup is gone, but I have some of the stuff I was working on at home.

Has the door to the portal room been opened yet? I've mostly been working on the other computers lately.

It opened briefly last night and earlier today with the two arrivals we had at the base and then shut again before anything could be done.

I'd like to get readings for where the other portals opened as well. See if there are any anomalies there.

Did it? That's interesting.

I could rig something up to take readings whenever the door opens. Put it on motion sensors. And I can go around and try to get readings on the portals in the city if you have coordinates for me.
