Thank you to all who helped deal with the various threats to the town yesterday. All threats have been neutralized or contained.

From a thorough look at various security footage from different store fronts in each location, it appears that a portal opened up in each area, releasing the various creatures into the town.

We're unsure why they activated outside of the room the portal is contained in. We're going to need to put together a team that can study the portal, inside and outside. As best we can manage.

There were some portals that opened up in other places. San Antonio, last year. I retrieved a [...] My Little Pony.

Mostly random Texas locations. We had a pod drop happen outside of Houston. There was a report that vampires from Buffy's world were spotted in California. Unconfirmed how they got there.

So the vampires could be an anomaly that didn't arrive via an actual portal opening up. But nothing quite like last night when we had nine simultaneously open up in the town?

They could be an anomaly. They could have come through the portal before we did some years ago. They could have showed up through a portal like the San Antonio thing. They may not even be here anymore, considering that was two Tumbleweeds ago.

Not that I'm aware of — is the answer to both. That's not to say that this version of Tumbleweed hasn't had previous instances of it somewhere in their paperwork.

I would push combing through that paperwork to the forefront of things to do. Perhaps also see how many times the local newspaper has reported 'gas leaks' or the like.

There were two unexplained fires that were attributed to gas leaks last year. One at a church and one at a gas station.
