I am suddenly concerned about how I lived my entire life without a domestic cat around my house to enjoy the company of. I missed far too much, and will likely be catching up on it all night long because I'm far too entertained to sleep.

That is pretty amazing to imagine. And yes, in this case it is. A comfey. She's only 4" tall but a powerful healer, something I am sure I or my time will need.

Well comfey is the only pokémon who can learn Floral Healing, a powerful healing move. It has an advantage in that, generally, it bypasses the need for accuracy and thus will heal every time, usually able to restore half your full health. On grassy terrain that increases to two thirds. And if powered up, it can raise all lowered stats (speed, attack, defense, etc).

It is! One limitation is that she needs to be right next to you, but still, she'll be able to help out a lot whenever something happens next. I am going to take really good care of her, probably even get some flowers in pots when we're back in Texas.

She sounds incredibly worthy of exactly that! From what I've seen of the pirate attack, I feel like everyone could have used one.

Entirely. She loves flowers and gets sad if she doesn't have them. And she's only 4" across, so even outside her pokéball she doesn't take up very much space and will be able to help people and stay out of the way. And at other times, too. Accidents, etc happen too.

She really is. Most of what you see of her are the flowers she's woven into herself.
