Do the people in these ports generally speak High English, or do they have their own?

And while I'm on that note, how many languages are spoken amongst the people on this ship? I'd like to learn at least one of them in the time I'm here.

Distinguishing where my Earth started would be complicated, since it is currently four worlds layered on top of each other. They used to be better connected, but the doors were closed a while ago when there was a problem of dark magic corrupting and spreading.

I'd be interested in seeing an example of that language, even if I don't take the time to try to learn it.

Sounds complicated.

I would be more than happy to provide you with an example of the language. It is somewhat primitive, but there is a beauty to the hieroglyphs.
