Do the people in these ports generally speak High English, or do they have their own?

And while I'm on that note, how many languages are spoken amongst the people on this ship? I'd like to learn at least one of them in the time I'm here.

My dad...let's just say he was very attracted to human women. I have a lot of half siblings.

I can't really blame him for that. It's just strange to think of [...] a god living amongst people. Interacting with them. Taking lovers.

Just not how I imagined gods, if they existed, I suppose.

He didn't really live among them. He lived in a separate realm called Olympus, but he was pretty well known for getting bored.

Yeah, the Greek gods aren't really who you want to look at as role models.

I suppose if I had idolized them, that would be disappointing to hear, but I did not know anything about them until now.

They're not really godlike anymore, and thankfully they don't often try to influence events. I have more trouble with my extended family than I do with the gods themselves.

I never considered the possibility that a god could become less godlike. I've never spent a lot of time thinking about gods in general, though.

Extended family being [...] Zeus's other children?
