You know, there was a time, where I would just punch things first and ask questions later. I guess that says how much I've grown as a person.

That being said...I'm still not happy about being dragged here. This was not the kind of vacation that I had in mind when I asked Asami if she wanted to go somewhere with just the two of us.

Guess, I should introduce myself here. I'm Korra, and I'm the Avatar. If anyone here actually knows what that means, which guessing from what I've seen so far, no one really does.

Has anyone seen a woman about my age named Asami Sato? Tall, dark black hair, really pretty?

They're good tactics. Most of the time. I've learned to use other, less violent tactics over the years. Still prefer punching things first most of the time, though.

I may be some solace to know that you are not alone in that manner. Many of us have found ourselves to be here, taken from our original plans. Maybe it would also be comforting to know that some people have actually punched first and asked later?

I usually do punch first and ask questions later. But in the past, that's gotten me arrested. Or causing trouble that really could've been avoided. So, I tried something completely different for me.

Punching is a last resort or past it, personally. But I do fairly well with asking questions.

Pleased to meet you, Korra. I believe there are a number of women who fall under that description, but I haven't met an Asami Sato.

The first and last time I seriously punched anything, I broke a finger (but saved my life). I'm glad to hear it didn't get violent. Due to some terrifying experiences before I arrived here, some people are nervous about upsetting our hosts.

A plus side is that people do keep coming. Two of my best friends arrived here before I did, but I did come eventually. And another one too. So, not all hope is lost.

You might have been doing it wrong. Even if it did safe your life. You should learn how to properly throw one, just in case you need to defend yourself. You want to be able to defend yourself without damaging yourself. I can teach you how.

Yeah. I just ran into someone from home. Which means I'm not completely alone here, which is nice.
