At least I have some practice trying not to be. The Na'vi actually said I could come back without using the Avatar bodies, but given we ended up a few hundred light years away and then in a different universe I'm not sure that really means much.

The sense of community they had, I'm guessing. I grew up in Brooklyn, kind of had an atmosphere to it too, but not nearly as...nice.

Off and on until I was nine. We moved between there and NYC a lot. Probably based on how interested in my father the police were at the time, in retrospect.

I was going to the farmers market every weekend and had khakis in my wardrobe. Had Sunday brunch with the family and got whiny if someone couldn't make it. I was pretty fucking boring.

No doubt I'll just blow it all up again sometime soon. I haven't been able to decide whether it's better to screw things up myself, where it's something I could in theory learn from, or for the universe to fuck me over, where at least I didn't do anything wrong. Really it just sucks all round.
